Degree Audit

Availability: All students and advisors can run audits.

Saved audits: Use Audits > Manage to see previously run audits. Stored audits auto-delete weekly, use Print to save a PDF if needed.

Exceptions & Encoding

Advisor exceptions: Advisors may enter exceptions for majors, emphases, and minors (not GE) in MDP (Self-Service). Re-run the audit to verify results.

GE exceptions: Coordinate with Undergraduate Education; do not enter campus-level policy changes as MDP exceptions. If a petition is approved, submit an Academic Records Review (ARR) with the approval attached and a clear description. See the ARR guide on Troubleshooting & Reporting Issues. Re-run the audit after you receive confirmation.

Encoding changes (Registrar staff): Resume post go-live; continue sending issues/findings for prioritization.

Transfer Credit, AP/IB, GE & IE

Display: Transfer and test credit continue to display/apply as before. If something looks off, re-run the audit and compare with the Catalog for the correct catalog year.

Printing & Accessibility

PDFs: Use the audit Print icon to save/print. Some visual elements may differ slightly from the screen view.
