How to Run Your MyDegreePath Audit

Once you’ve accessed MyDegreePath, you can run a degree audit to see how your completed, in-progress, and planned coursework applies to your degree requirements. You can run your current (declared) audit or explore other academic paths using the What-If audit option.

Running a Declared Audit

  1. On the homepage, click “Run Program.”
  2. This will generate an audit based on your current major, minor, catalog year, and declared emphasis (if applicable).
  3. Once complete, click “View Audit” to see your results.

Running a What-If Audit

Want to explore a different major or catalog year? Use the What-If Audit:

  1. Click “Select a Different Program.”
  2. Choose a degree program, catalog year, and optionally add a minor or emphasis.
  3. Click “Run Program,” then click “View Audit” once it finishes generating.

Advanced Settings: Show Planned Courses

You can choose to include planned courses from the Degree Planner (MDP-Plan) in your audit results. This helps you see how your upcoming terms will fulfill requirements.

  1. Before running an audit, click the “Advanced Settings” menu.
  2. Check the box for 'Include Planned Courses'.
  3. Run the audit to preview how planned courses apply.
